This city-wide celebration and all day community affair will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 The celebration starts with a parade at noon. The parade is keeping the same route as formed 2 years ago: 

It will start at the intersection of Sherman St./Wealthy St. and continue east on Wealthy St., turning left on Lakeside Dr., ending at Reeds Lake Blvd.

Following the parade is a party in John Collins Park on Reeds Lake, 650 Lakeside Drive. Kids of all ages will enjoy musical entertainment, inflatable’s, games, air brush tattoos, balloon animals and concessions by Shafer concessions.  We will also have the following food trucks;  Patty Matters, Gettin Fresh, Doughrunts-mini donuts and Pizzaiolo Wood Fired Pizza. Highlighting the celebration is a water ski show on Reeds Lake. In the evening enjoy a musical performance by Hark Up that plays through the night until the start of the fireworks. At dusk, approximately 10:15 pm, a fantastic fireworks display over the water completes the day!
